Reality T.V from the Devon Towns Forum

If you think watching T.V is an easy option, you were not one of the delegates attending the recent Devon Towns Forum Advanced Chairmanship Training Course.  Role play and seeing yourself on T.V. was just part of the three-day high level training experience expertly delivered by Sally Williams from Action for Market Towns.   National Training Manager Sally took the delegates through their paces covering leadership styles, personality types, delegation and leadership skills, before the dreaded roll play.

Actually, the delegates all agreed that they gained a lot from seeing themselves and others played back on T.V and once relaxed into the course really enjoyed the experience.  The course was specially designed for Devon's Market Town Chairman and Community Leaders by the Devon Towns Forum.  Paul Delahoy Director of the Forum said, 'the course was a great success and the feed back has been hugely encouraging; we will now distil the experience into a series of future training events, including special one-day Chairmanship and Community Leader Courses.'

The Devon Towns Forum is well known for its high quality events and training all of which are provided free to Devon's Community Partnerships.  The Forum also has a host of support packages including help with, Marketing, Business Links, Websites, I.T and free Training Packages.  The Forum is also supporting the Developing Community Assets Action Learning Seminar in Ivybridge on the 19th of November and a Conference looking at Sustainable and Resilient Rural Communities on the 4th December.
