Empty Shop Fund ignores Market Towns


Market towns have been bypassed by a £3million government fund to help revive empty shops, which will be mainly directed towards urban areas.

This is despite recent research presented to the government which shows that the recession is increasing the number of vacant shops in small towns and that towns are faring worse than the nation as a whole during the recession.
